Above is my work for Task 1. I researched the history of Swiss Style, as well as two designers who had a big impact of both the creation of the style, as well as producing some very relevant work. As well as this, I wrote about types that are used within Swiss Style and why.
By understanding more about the conventions used in word processing, page layout and typographic design, you will be able to understand ways in which digital techniques can transform text from a simple document into a creative desktop publishing outcome.
In Task 2, we were asked to design two brochures, using what we had learnt about Swiss Style in task 1 and applying it to our work.
The brochures I produced are based around the Brighton and Hove Booth Museum, as you can see below.
